We have four very plesant streches of the Upper Witham, Please remember to take all your litter and old line home, including any you find in your swim. Note there is no night fishing allowed on any Grantham Angling Association water, any member found doing so will be expelled from the association.

Still Waters

Denton Reservoir


he approximate size of Denton Reservoir is 26 acres (10.44 hectares), and contains many specimen fish.
As we are members of the national water watch scheme, please photograph all carp caught and send the pictures to the secretary jeff@granthamaa.org.uk
This is a members only water
There is a public footpath right around this venue, so please be considerate to other users. The fishing times for this water are set by the land owner, any member caught, fishing outside these times will face disciplinary action.

Buckminster Brick Pit


A pleasant horse shoe shaped water on the edge of Buckminster village.
To help us with stocking policy please report your catches.
Please clost the gate on entering or leaving this venue.
This is a members only water.

Simons Pond


A nice L shaped water on an old RAF airfield.
There are 22 pegs at this venue please ensure you only use the designated pegs,
Barbless hooks only, No floating baits, No boilies.
The gate at this venue, must be left as you find it, if is locked when you arrive or leave make sure it is locked after entering or leaving, do not leave it open, failure to comply will result in your book being endorsed.
This is a members only water.

Queen Elizabeth Park


For the sole use of senior, junior's under instruction and concessonary members. Use designated pegs only.
Barbless hooks only, No floating baits.
From 01/04/2011, anglers are allowed to use one rod only at this venue, as decided at the 2011 AGM.
This is a members only water.

Fernes Ponds

Two ponds on the edge of Long Bennington,
To help us with stocking policy please report your catches.
These ponds were added to our list of waters in July 2017, the entrance is key controled. There is some work that needs doing to them. You will need to take a weed rake if you wish to fish pond 1 at the moment. This is a members only water.

Grantham Canal

We have approximately 4 miles of the canal. Fishing is from the towpath side only, please be considerate to other towpath users. Please remember to take all your litter and old line home, including any you find in your swim. Note there is no night fishing allowed on any Grantham Angling Association water, any member found doing so will be expelled from the association.
